Oh god! That's impossibly cute! Who knew that it's possible to bathe the Dief without him splashing water everywhere. Is there a bribery donut involved? With frosting?

If Dief's involved, there is always bribery!!! or blackmail! One or both! And many doughnuts! And who knows how Fraser got Ray to go along with this? He's a regular Tom Sawyer he is! whitewashing fences indeed!

Maybe he told Ray that Dief would shed less over the GTO interior if he washed him. That's the sane normal answer. I think I prefered the first option.

Ah! I finally figured out how to post here (yeah, I'm slow ... what of it? *g*). So I'll repost the comments I made in your LJ, because I really wanted to comment here to begin with! So:

Okay. Yeah, I'm excited; who needs caffeine? That's just way cool. :-)

I love this piece and ooooooohhhhh ... Turtle Love! LOL! That is adorable! I have to wonder who among the due South creators had the turtle thing. Twice Fraser said 'look, turtles' and of course, Ray's turtle ... Hmmm ... but they also seem to have a thing for rubber ducks. *g*

Now if someone would just write a story about why Ray is giving Dief a bath and how Fraser talked him into it ... my life would be complete. It wouldn't have to be too long. 40 - 80K. It needs to include donuts, of course. A smidge of angst. NC17 or R is fine ... ;-) (Hey, it never hurts to ask! LOL!)
