The cute gets cuter. I once read a fic on ds_flash where they fell in love and went on a date. Honest!

The turtle doesn't have a name in canon. In fanon, Speedy is the popular choice, but I used The Turtle (to match The Stella and give Ray an obsession with the definite article - no Fraser didn't want one) in "Do They Have Gooseberries In Canada", my first online fic in the fandom.

But that is the cutest reptile ever. I *heart* him, and I *heart* Dief too. (I am an equal opportunities *heart*er)

"The Turtle" ... yeah i could see that with Ray K. I could also see it having a name like "Shelby" after the classic Shelby Cobra muscle car! You know his obsessions with his GTO and all...

It's also on DSA, I think, but it might be typo ridden, as I forgot to coorect the typos on all my masters before submitting, *doh*, a very me thing to do.

Ah, you are wiser on muscle cars than I. A distinctly american phenomenon. Don't really work on twisty turny country lanes.

I want a Lotus 7/Catterham 7 (same car, different maker) please, O God of free automobilitary things! Like Patrick McGoonan's in the Prisoner.

Yes! True love. LOL! I think that would be so sweet. Turtles and wolves get lonely, too. I'm going to hunt down these Dief/turtle fics.

I always imagined the turtles name would be Lenny.
